I would like to do a run thought of this new presentation this month on a topic that has long been one of my favorites. The mind of a trader. Special thanks to Barry Beckett who's insights have been ever so helpful.

I have often got to my desk in the morning and did my pre market prep, in a totally rational way. And then the opening bell rings. Like session of a Hypnotist after the bell I consentrate on the charts and the price as they move up and down. Next thing I owe my plan goes out the window as I trade in a trance. Go long, Go short, with the trend counter trend... etc... etc. Time flies in the trance and then the bell rings. And rational thought returns...

Most of the time I do okay, but not always...lol some times I wonder who the hell was at the machine. Cause it sure was not the guy that did the premarket prep. I was those trading demons that you very seem to be able to kill. That just lurk in the shadows until you have a moment of weakness. Or you just concentrate to hard and get to deep into the trading trance.

Either way my friend Barry and I have been exchanging e-mail's about this for some time. and at this event I would like to share some of our findings.
